Bees: Important tasks
Pollination of flowers and honey collection
While the bee flies from flower to flower in the summer, it collects nectar and honeydew with its proboscis, swallows both and stores them in its honey stomach. For 500 grams of honey, a bee has to fly about 120,000 kilometres!
