Jesus prayed in a crisis

Some time later Jesus went with His disciples to the Garden of Gethsemane.
He left His friends to wait somewhat behind Him and knelt on the ground. Jesus had great sorrow.
He prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, keep Me from this suffering! But not My will be done, rather Your will.”
Jesus knew that much hurt, suffering and death were to come. He was afraid of that. But He was prepared nevertheless to bear all the heavy suffering.
With His anguish, His despair and His crisis, He went to God, His Father.
You can also pray to God when you are in despair.
You can speak with God openly and honestly. You can tell Him what worries you.
Ask Him for help when things don’t go well for you.
